Tuberose cultivation: This farmer is earning huge profits by cultivating this flower
Tuberose cultivation: Sukhpal Singh, a farmer in Ballabhgarh’s Prahladpur hamlet, grows tuberose on 3.5 acres. He makes millions of rupees a year from farming, which he uses to support his family. Sukhpal’s primary source of income is farming, and his family consists of 22 people. Sukhpal sells beautiful flowers at Delhi’s Ghazipur Mandi and makes a healthy profit.
Technique for growing tuberose
“I don’t have to bring tuberose seeds from anywhere,” farmer Sukhpal told the journalists. Its seeds are grown in his own field, and he pulls it out and plants it again the next year. Although this crop is cultivated all year long, it is finished in only three months. The land must first be plowed before it can be seeded. According to Sukhpal, 40 bags of seeds are needed for every kilogram, and they are prepared on his field.
Crop maintenance
Sukhpal asserts that cultivating tuberose requires careful watering. Water must be provided every day in the summer, while it is spilled every three days in the winter. This flower is picked from dirt and grown in water. To ensure that the blossom grows correctly, farmers must irrigate the crop with extra care.
Make money with tuberose
According to farmer Sukhpal, tuberose in one fort generates a profit of almost Rs 5 lakh annually. For the last two decades, he has been farming, and it has significantly improved his family’s quality of life. He uses this profit to support his family since farming is the only source of income.
