Tomato cultivation: The farmer cultivated tomatoes using this method and became rich

Tomato cultivation: Ashutosh Mishra, a farmer from Rishyap village in the Kutumba block of the Aurangabad district, grows grafted tomatoes in three bighas. whereby brinjals are grown in addition to tomatoes. Farmers are always coming up with new methods for growing vegetables. Ashutosh Mishra, the farmer, is simultaneously making twice as much money from this farming.

The farmer has spent the past six years growing veggies. At the same time, he has been growing grafted tomatoes for the last three years. The farmer said that the District Horticulture Department provided him with comprehensive information on its cultivation. West Bengal was the supplier of its plant. The grafted technique is used to grow brinjals and tomatoes from the same plant’s root.

Rs 2000 was spent on each Kattha.

According to the farmer, these grafted tomato plants cost Rs 10 each on the market. In addition, each Kattha requires around 250 pieces for the farmer to plant. This is almost two thousand rupees in price. According to farmer Ashutosh Mishra, this tomato takes around 50–60 days to mature. Each kattha yields around two quintals of tomatoes and brinjals.

Profit twice as much from this farming’s produce.

According to the farmer, this tomato, which is grown using the grafted technique, may be grown two or three times a year. Like other tomatoes, this one is also a tomato. Vegetables utilize it more often. It is purchased by traders from Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Bihar. Currently, a quintal of tomatoes might cost up to Rs 3100.
