Meenakshi Nagar began providing cow service after quitting her corporate job and moving in with her in-laws in Gwalior. Following this, she launched her company producing incense sticks from cow dung on her father-in-law’s advise. Their current yearly revenue is 18 lakhs.

Why Started the Business

Meenakshi Nagar is a Gwalior local. She was employed with a large Jaipur firm once. Her spouse had a corporate career as well, and together they received a salary in the lakhs of rupees every year. However, they received a call one day informing them of their father-in-law’s dire condition. As a result, the pair quit their corporate jobs and returned to Gwalior. They took better care of their father-in-law once they arrived, and his condition improved.

Made Several Attempts to get Employment

Following this, she made many attempts to get employment in Gwalior, but she was unsuccessful. This is also a result of Gwalior’s very poor industrial conditions. Here, unemployment is rampant and there isn’t a single large enterprise. As a result, her father-in-law informed her about how cow-mother preserves the three worlds and what she brings to our planet when she failed to find employment. Inspired by this, she began producing incense sticks out of cow dung.

There were a lot of Problems in the Beginning

Meenakshi Nagar had significant difficulties at first while producing incense sticks. She had no idea how to turn cow manure into natural incense sticks. She persisted nevertheless. She made every effort and learned how to create a natural product that is advantageous to each and every consumer. She continued to make incense sticks for many years after that. Her company eventually took off, and she is now a prosperous businesswoman.

Aims to Provide Employment to Local People

Meenakshi said that the city’s industries are in poor shape in a special interview with a media report. Because there isn’t an IT firm in the area, there are no jobs available, and kids have to move away from their parents to live with other people. Meenakshi said, however, that you may benefit both yourself and others by trying to generate jobs in your area. Meenakshi is an inspiration to many and the reason why so many homes are functioning now. In addition, she works on something unique: creating idols out of cow poo.
