Growing a variety of crops will be profitable.

For years, a young farmer in the area has been engaged in mixed crop cultivation. From this, he is making millions of rupees in profit. Akash, a young farmer from Badel village in the Barabanki area, began growing tomato brinjal in one bigha at the same time. He made a healthy profit from this. In around two to two and a half bighas, he is now growing tomato brinjal cabbage. He makes between one and one and a half lakh rupees on a single harvest from this farming.

Vegetable cultivation

“I primarily grow vegetables,” Akash, a farmer who does mixed crop farming, told Local 18. It include veggies like cabbage, bottle gourds, ridge gourds, tomatoes, bitter gourds, and brinjal, among others. These veggies also bring in a healthy profit for us. Currently, we have planted cabbage, tomato, and brinjal in around two and a half bighas. Ten to fifteen thousand rupees per bigha is what I charge for them. Since seeds, pesticides, fertilizers, water, and other supplies are somewhat more expensive in this situation, we may save anywhere from one to one and a half lakh rupees on a single crop.

How is farming with mixed crops carried out?

These veggies are relatively simple to grow. The field is plowed first. Each of these vegetable plants is then planted one foot apart once the land has been flattened. after the plant has somewhat grown. It is then watered. In order to prepare the plant as soon as possible, fertilizer is sprayed. The crop then begins to appear. After that, it may be picked and sold in the marketplace.
