According to progressive woman farmer Mithilesh, she comes from a middle-class household and has been farming since she was a little kid. She continues to earn a comfortable living from farming. She claims that so far, this crop has not caused her any losses and has instead generated eight times more profit than it has cost. Typically, a bigha costs between two and three thousand rupees. When the crop is ripe, the paddy is sold first, and the plants that emerge are then used to make organic fertilizer and feed.

Agriculture technique

The farmer’s wife said that she levels the land well and creates beds there before anything else. Five plants are then positioned every meter after that. Irrigation is completed on schedule after this. After that, the plants get frequent irrigations as they begin to grow. This paddy matures in ninety days, at which point it is harvested, removed from the plant, and sold in the market. She then applies it to the field as green manure after removing it from the plants. These plants are also used by certain farmers as animal feed.

She claims that because her spouse is unable to work in the fields, she has taken up farming as a side job in addition to taking care of the home. She has now planted paddy crops in her farms.
