At the Millionaire Farmer of India Awards-2024, which were presented by Krishi Jagran and supported by Mahindra Tractors, Lekh Ram Yadav was recently given the National Award in the Millionaire Organic Farmer of India category. He was given this honor in recognition of his diligence and creativity. He was further motivated to pursue this in this manner by this prize.
The early life of Lekh Ram Yadav
Lekh Ram Yadav, a young farmer, told Krishi Jagran that while he was previously involved in the agricultural industry, a pivotal moment in his life occurred when he was studying in a lab. There was a female quality manager who was on the verge of retiring. In response to his question about her future plans, she said, “We have taken a small farmhouse, where we will live our life peacefully.”
He was moved by this. He pondered, “If this is the purpose of life in the end, then why not take steps in this direction right now?” From that point on, he began to consider making farming his career.
YouTube served as an Inspiration
Lekh Ram began farming organically after he made the decision to do so. At first, he encountered several obstacles and did not get the anticipated outcomes from organic farming. He began studying YouTube videos on organic farming and cutting-edge methods around this period. He came across a video of the energy science-based Tarachand Belji Technique (TCBT) on YouTube.
This method clarified how energy may be classified as neutral, positive, or negative for plants and how nanotechnology can be used to their advantage. Lekh Ram was really pleased by this method and chose to use it in his farming. This was a pivotal moment that changed the course of his farming.
Farming technology advancements and modifications
Lekhram Yadav’s farming changed dramatically after he followed the Tarachand Belji method (TCBT). He learned the proper energy balance via the TCBT approach and used it in his areas. Consequently, he saw that plant growth quickened and his crops’ health improved. After that, he also embraced the Vrikshayurvedic formula, which was founded on bhasma rasayan and biochemistry. Another significant aspect of Lekh Ram’s farm is the cultivation of vegetables. On around 60 to 70 acres of land, he grows a variety of crops, including capsicum, tomatoes, potatoes, and carrots. In addition, he has begun growing important Indian fruits, including papaya, guava, and mango, on a huge scale, along with other agricultural items. Because they are organic, the fruits and vegetables he grows in his fields are very nutritious.
Achievements and Honors
Lekh Ram Yadav’s yearly revenue has surpassed Rs 17 crore as a consequence of his diligence and hard work. The farmer community now views his agricultural approach as the ideal. The achievement of Lekh Ram Yadav has shown that organic farming may lead to widespread success if the appropriate technologies and diligent work ethic are used.
