By growing red saag, Mohammad Razzaq, a farmer in Sirsia village in the Bhargama block of the Araria district, has improved his financial situation. On one of his bighas, Mohammad Razzaq has grown crimson saag. He said that he would make a significant profit when the red saag crop was ripe in 25 to 30 days. Due to its high market demand, growing red saag has not only raised their revenue but also turned out to be a lucrative venture for them.

Lal saag is said to be extraordinarily healthy due to its high protein content. Because doctors advise consuming it, its demand in the market never goes down. According to Mohammad Razzaq, there is a significant demand for red saag in the Forbesganj and Araria marketplaces. But sometimes, because of its limited supply, its price rises even higher, allowing farmers to make more money.

According to Mohammad Razzaq’s experience, farmers may benefit much from growing red saag. One bigha of land may provide a good harvest of red saag in only one month, which allows farmers to make a substantial profit quickly. Through this farming, farmers may make millions of rupees.
