According to him, growing radish may provide a high revenue with little effort and money spent. He said that he planted white radish in the winter and grows radish on fifty decimal acres of land.

As a result, he makes around one lakh rupees on an acre of land in a season. The farmer informed the journalists that greens and radish are sold separately under this agricultural practice. He said that in 40–50 days, he can make a respectable living from radish. The cost of radish is now reasonable. The market prices radish at 20, 30, and 40 rupees per kilogram.

Forbesganj block farmer Rajdev Mehta makes a solid living by cultivating radish and laaf saag on his property. The farmer informed the reporters that growing radish may be quite advantageous to them. Rajdev is now cultivating white radish and laaf saag on his half-acre.
