A farmer from Sarasundi village in Barabanki named Shrikant Verma began growing Taiwanese pink guava instead of customary crops and made considerable money doing it. By growing Taiwanese pink guava on around one acre, he is now making a profit of almost Rs 4 lakh.

He then ordered it from Madhya Pradesh after looking up the seedling on YouTube. One plant, which was planted 1.5 years ago, cost between 70 and 80 rupees. In one acre, he planted around 1200 trees, and he made a healthy profit.

The market has a lot of demand.

The expense of gardening, the farmer said. One acre is worth around fifty thousand rupees. It covers the price of the tree, water, insecticides, fertilizer, etc. The profit on a single crop increases to almost 4 lakh rupees at the same period. Considering that the Taiwanese pink guava is much larger than the Desi guava. It is offered at a fair price since it is both incredibly sweet and delicious to eat. It is still in great demand on the market.
