Grafted Vegetable Farming: Aurangabad farmer did farming with this technique, you will be surprised to know his earnings
Grafted Vegetable Farming: Brajkishore Mehta, a farmer in Aurangabad, Bihar’s Kutumba area, cultivates vegetables using innovative methods. In addition, he has spent the previous 25 years growing a wide variety of novel fruits and vegetables. For the first time, Brajkishore Mehta has grown grafted tomatoes, which will yield tomatoes from brinjal roots.
According to the farmer, he discovered on YouTube that a single plant may be grafted to produce two different crops. In this case, he ordered these plants from Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, after gathering all the necessary agricultural information. This vegetable was available in 60 to 70 days after it began to be grown in around 8 kattha.
The price per kattha is two thousand.
According to the farmer, each component of this grafted tomato plant cost 10 rupees. This calls for planting around 200 pieces each kattha. It costs two thousand rupees at the same time. According to the farmer, this grafted tomato produces an excellent production of tomato and brinjal and is ready in about two months. The grower claims that each plant yields 40 to 50 kg.
40 kg of tomatoes per plant
According to farmer Brajkishore Mehta, if tomatoes and brinjal are left together, the tomato output would be lower; however, if the brinjal is picked, the tomato yield might reach 40 kg per plant. At the same time, each plant will produce up to 5 kg of brinjal. According to the farmer, this was used for the first time this year and was almost successful. Meanwhile, certain mistakes are being observed. In eight kattha, around 80 to 100 quintals of tomatoes are produced. This year’s farming has brought in around 5 lakh rupees for the farmer. Selling tomatoes and brinjal doesn’t need traveling anywhere. The veggies are taken from the farm by traders.
