Farmers are then getting their farms ready for the Rabi crop. Because of this, the farmers in Fatehabad have begun to use progressive farming in addition to conventional farming. As a result, farmers are becoming wealthy from harvesting crops valued at Rs 8–10 lakh per acre.
In addition to conventional crops like wheat, rice, and mustard, a farmer named Rajkumar grows garlic in Kukdawali hamlet in Fatehabad. According to farmer Rajkumar, he now makes 8–10 lakh rupees per acre by growing garlic, compared to 50–60,000 rupees per acre from conventional farming.
About 30 acres of land are used for growing garlic
According to Rajkumar, the two brothers own around thirty acres of property. wherein he has grown garlic. He said that while growing garlic is more costly and labor-intensive, the rewards are also substantial. He claimed to have been growing garlic for 20 to 22 years. Rajkuman claims that he has made a healthy profit over the last three to four years due to the price of garlic on the market. According to him, the cost of planting, caring for, and harvesting a single acre of crop is between 1 and 1.5 lakh rupees, while the harvest value is around 10 lakh rupees per acre. They save 7-8 lakh rupees per acre if the costs are subtracted.

At the warehouse he established on his farm, he handles all of the cleaning, packing, and storage of garlic. He said that while garlic is in high demand nationwide, it is sent from his location to other states, such as Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh. According to Rajkumar, a farmer may improve his quality of life by growing garlic. It carries as much danger as it does reward.
