According to Amit Awasthi, he makes between 12 and 15 lakh rupees a year from 5 acres. He is growing the excellent G9 banana cultivar. He informed us that the G9 banana crop will be ready in 12 to 14 months and that we could harvest it twice.

One bigha of bananas costs between 18,000 to 20,000 rupees to grow, according to Amit. Selling the harvest does not need going to a market. Bananas are picked up from the field by contractors. They get cash as a result, and they are trouble-free.
