Beans Cultivation: Green vegetable growing in the area is attracting a lot of attention from farmers. Because there are many types of green vegetables, farmers are increasingly stepping up to produce them in diverse locations. Beans are one such item that is highly sought after in supermarkets. Farmers have begun growing it. Farmers have made this crucial choice in order to increase profits at a minimal cost.

Additionally, the return is excellent and the cost is lower. Because of this, farmers are now concentrating more on growing green vegetables, which significantly raises their revenue.
Cold climates are ideal for growing beans.
It is not necessary to have a high temperature to grow beans. Temperatures between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius are thought to be ideal for crop productivity. Aside from this, keeping the bean fields wet is also crucial. In the same sequence, farmer Shrikant Verma, who lives in Sarasundi village in the Barabanki district, is growing beans and making millions of rupees from his harvest.

“We have been cultivating beans continuously for four years,” farmer Shrikant Verma, who is growing beans, told the reporters. Additionally, we have made extra money from this. We now have around one acre of beans planted, with a cost of about 80,000 rupees and a profit of about two to 2.5 lakh rupees every harvest. Beans are offered at a very good price since they are a highly healthful food that is in high demand in both marketplaces and large hotels. Here, very few farmers grow beans. Since it is often grown in cold climates, there is a greater demand for it in markets. We use the mulching technique to grow it.
How is it grown?
Beans are fairly simple to grow. The field is first plowed two or three times, after which it is ridged and covered with mulch. After that, bean seeds are sowed in holes that have been formed in the mulch at a certain distance. When its plant emerges, the whole field is covered with a bamboo and string structure, and its plants are climbed. The beans’ vine extends over it, making it easier to harvest them when they’re ripe and lowering the chance of illness. Around 65 days after the beans are sown, it begins to bear fruit, which may then be harvested and sold in the marketplace.
