UP Government New Scheme: Yogi government announced to give nutrition allowance to these workers every month
UP Government New Scheme: A assistance program for registered construction workers in the NCR area has been established by the Uttar Pradesh government. As a result, these employees would get a monthly nutrition allowance of Rs 1,000. The Uttar Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare (BOCW) Board would be responsible for providing this sum. The government would invest Rs 200 crore on the plan, which will help almost five lakh workers.
What time will the distribution begin?
Until November 18, enrolled employees will get a four-week stipend under the program. The first two weeks’ worth of wages are now being credited to the employees’ accounts.
What did the Supreme Court say about workers’ economic circumstances?
Because of the recent rise in pollution, all forms of building were prohibited in the NCR area. Given the financial circumstances of the workers impacted by the construction project’s shutdown, the Supreme Court had mandated that the government pay nourishment allowance.
