This scheme of Yogi government has brought new hope for orphaned and needy children
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Bal Seva Scheme (General): For underprivileged and orphaned children, the Yogi government’s “Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana (General)” has given them fresh hope. The Yogi government is helping children and adolescents who have lost their parents, a guardian, or guardians for reasons other than death via this program, which was introduced in August 2021. This program, which is led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is dedicated to the general development of children and youth in addition to offering financial support to orphaned children.
Children under the age of 18 get Rs 2,500 per month in cash help under this government program. Children who must struggle to make ends meet following the loss of their parents are benefiting greatly from this aid. The Yogi administration created this program after realizing the financial and educational requirements of these kids, and it is now assisting thousands of kids.
Children under the age of eighteen are not the only ones who may benefit from this program. Instead, this program also provides support to 18- to 23-year-old youths and young people who have completed the class 12 test and want to enroll in a government college, university, or technical school to get a bachelor’s degree or certificate. In addition to promoting education, this action aids in the development of the youth’s future.
Under this program, exceptional support is also given to deserving students who have completed competitive state and national exams like NEET, JEE, and CLAT. These kids will continue to benefit from the program until they are 23 or until they graduate from an accredited technical school with a degree or certificate, whichever comes first.
This scheme is changing the lives of youth
Thousands of children and young people’s lives have already been transformed by this Yogi government initiative. In the fiscal year 2024–2025, 29,029 children were identified and benefitted from this program, which is administered by the Department of Women and Child Development. These numbers demonstrate the scheme’s effectiveness and success at the grassroots level. This program has shown how to help young people and orphans become self-sufficient. In addition to providing financial support, our project is assisting people in reaching significant life objectives.
In addition to raising their level of life, the program is giving them newfound confidence and optimism. In addition to improving the lives of the impacted children and adolescents, this Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana (General) action is encouraging a cooperative and inclusive culture in the community.
