Telangana government scheme :  Students preparing for UPSC exam often face financial constraints. In view of this situation, the Telangana government has started an important program. Actually, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has started a new program for the persons who have passed the Union Public Service Commission (upsc) Prelims Exam. The name of this program is ‘Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhay Hastam Scheme’. According to the proposal, the applicants of the state who have passed the UPSC preliminary examination will get assistance of Rs 1 lakh for the preparation of Mains. Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhay Hastam Scheme (RGCAHS)

The aim of the Telangana government’s Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhay Hastam Scheme is to ensure that the UPSC preparation of any student is not hampered due to financial constraints. Those who pass the UPSC preliminary examination are given financial assistance through this scheme to help in further preparation. Those who clear the UPSC preliminary exam will be eligible for financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh under this scheme. With this money, applicants will be able to pay for study material, coaching and other resources required to prepare for the UPSC main exam.

Where will the money be distributed under the scheme

Students studying for UPSC will get financial assistance from Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) under the Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhaya Hastam Yojana. Students who clear the first stage of the civil services exam will get this assistance. The assistance given to the children is a part of the program of Singareni Collieries, which includes several construction-related initiatives. It is important to remember that Singareni Collieries is a coal mining corporation owned by the Government of India and is a component of the Energy Department of the Government of Telangana.

Eligibility for the scheme

If you are from the General (EWS), Backward Classes, SC or ST category and have cleared the UPSC preliminary exam, you can apply for the Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhaya Hastam Yojana. You will get cash assistance under this program. However, keep in mind that your family’s annual income should be less than Rs 8 lakh and you must be a permanent resident of Telangana. Candidates must clear the UPSC preliminary exam to be eligible for the program. Only then will they be eligible to receive financial assistance under this scheme. It is also important to remember that, even if a candidate takes the civil service exam more than once, he will get financial assistance only once.
