PM Fasal Bima Yojana: The farmers have received positive news from the national government. In actuality, the federal government has delayed till August 31, 2024, the deadline for farmers in six states to get insurance for their Kharif crops. By insuring their crops, farmers may make up for the financial losses incurred by drought, flood, and other natural disasters.

The deadline for applying to the PM Crop Insurance Scheme has been extended by the federal government for six states, including Assam’s Tripura. Farmers now have until August 31 to apply for the PM Crop Insurance Scheme. There are several advantages for farmers under the crop insurance program. Farmers may choose to voluntarily insure their crops under this program in exchange for a lower rate. Farmers will then get the insurance amount in the event of a loss. Over 8.69 crore farmers have applied for this initiative so far.
Application Date
On December 31st, farmers in Tripura, Assam, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry are eligible to register for the Crop Insurance Scheme. Let us remind you that the deadline was earlier on August 16th.

Importance Document
A photocopy of your bank passbook, documentation pertaining to your land, and your Aadhar card are required for PM crop insurance registration.
