Mahila Samridhi Yojana: Rekha Gupta, the chief minister of Delhi, gave the Assembly a presentation of the budget on Tuesday. The government treasury was opened for the Mahila Samriddhi Yojna, a project that provides infrastructure to women, as part of this year’s budget of Rs 1 lakh crore. What are the terms of the Mahila Samriddhi Scheme?
The BJP had pledged to provide women with Rs 2,500 per month under the Mahila Samriddhi Yojana before the Delhi elections. Registrations under this program have also begun since Delhi’s government was established. The Delhi government launched this program with the intention of helping low-income women who do not have to pay income taxes and whose household makes less than Rs 3 lakh a year. In addition, additional criteria have been maintained under this plan.
In addition, women who apply for the program must not be government workers or be receiving financial assistance from another government program. She must be between the ages of 18 and 60 to be eligible for the program, and she must have lived in Delhi for at least five years.
It will be necessary to provide an income certificate
The applicant’s Aadhaar number should be connected to a single bank account in Delhi. For an income up to Rs 3 lakh annually, an income certificate from the local SDM or another approved Revenue Department official is required. The government is also creating an online application gateway for the Mahila Samriddhi Scheme. No formal announcement has been made about the registration date. It is anticipated that the date will be revealed shortly.
What paperwork will be needed?
Although the list of papers needed to register for the initiative has not yet been officially announced, applicants may need their cellphone number, residency certificate, income certificate, BPL ration card, and Aadhaar card. Additionally, the application and Aadhaar may be connected via the site.
