Government Subsidy: Uttar Pradesh government made farmers happy, giving subsidy of up to ₹ 1 lakh on mushrooms and polyhouse
Government Subsidy: There is good news for Uttar Pradesh’s farmers. Now, it will be simple for small farmers in areas like Meerut, Hapur, Noida, Ghaziabad, Baghpat, and Bulandshahr to begin growing mushrooms and polyhouses. The Government of India’s Integrated Horticulture Scheme will now provide special incentives, or subsidies, to farmers who are concerned about the high costs.

Under this government program, farmers in the state may get up to 50% of the cost of growing mushrooms and polyhouses on their fields. Tell us more about this fantastic government plan right here.
Small farmers may now become sophisticated farmers as well
Information obtained indicates that small farmers will now also get subsidies for growing mushrooms and polyhouses. A farmer would get a subsidy of up to Rs 1 lakh if he wanted to do it for Rs 2 lakh. In a similar vein, the government would provide specific financial support for polyhouses, enabling farmers to quadruple their revenue via modern farming.
Uninformed farmers will get instruction
For farmers who are new to growing mushrooms or polyhouses, training has also been organized. Farmers may get instruction at Krishi Vigyan Kendras and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Agricultural University in Meerut. This will facilitate the resolution of technical issues that arise while farming.
Up until now, only large farmers who worked on large projects were eligible to profit from this arrangement. However, the program now includes small and marginal farmers as well, which will enhance agricultural productivity in the state and draw more people to modern farming.
How can I benefit from the plan?
Farmers must get in touch with their district’s horticulture department in order to get advantages under the Integrated Horticulture Scheme. There they may get further crucial information about the farm and the plan.
