Additionally, the department would buy goats of superior quality and pay farmers up to Rs 20,000.

This program is intended for goat farmers that raise Sirohi-bred goats in areas such as Ajmer, Nagaur, Rajsamand, Sikar, Chittorgarh, Jaipur, Churu, and Kuchaman City, Rajasthan. This plan will prioritize women’s self-help organizations, poorer sections, tribes, and scheduled castes. In this case, please provide us with detailed information about this news:
Financial support for goat farmers
Goat rearers will get two forms of financial aid under this program:
Goat reward: The rearers of the chosen goats will get an incentive of Rs 3,000. Only once a healthy offspring is produced via natural insemination of the goat with the department-provided goat will this amount be accessible.
Assistance for male goats: Up to nine months’ worth of care and food would be provided at a rate of Rs 5,000 per goat. In addition, the rearers would get up to Rs 20,000 for the purchase of superior goats chosen by the department.
The procedure of eligibility and selection
This initiative is only available to goat rearers in a few districts of Rajasthan: Ajmer, Nagaur, Sirohi, Rajsamand, Sikar, Chittorgarh, Jaipur, Churu, and Kuchaman City. When choosing recipients, preference will be given to women’s self-help organizations, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and lower-income groups. Small and marginal farmers would particularly benefit from this program since goat farming is inexpensive and yields high profits.
