UP government scheme: The government never fails to provide schemes for the people therefore it is always introducing new ones every now and then. There are also some schemes that can be applied and children are the beneficiaries of them. The Uttar Pradesh government also has a government sponsored scheme for children. Under this scheme, the children will be given the aid by the state government provisioned for that purpose which is educating the children. The state government of the Union shall provide assistance to the children below eighteen years through a monthly deposit of rupees 4000. This scheme can come in very handy to children in need. It is clear that we even have some children in whose cases this scheme can also apply.
What is the sponsorship scheme?
The sponsorship scheme is designed for children that have lost both parents. The so called beneficiaries of this scheme will be provided four Thousand Rupees every month under this scheme. This facility will be enjoyed from the Department of Women and Child Welfare.
Who is eligible for the sponsorship scheme?
This scheme aims at giving out monetary support to children to enable them embrace education and proper upbringing. In order to benefit from this scheme, UD children’s age has to be between 1- 18 years. The helpless children who have no one to look after them will be the ones to benefit.
Also, there are some parents who are unable to provide the required help to their children. As per the sponsorship scheme children subsidized under the scheme are below the age of 18 shall receive a monthly pension of 4000 rupees not exceeding. There will be credited to their account every month ruled.
There are a total of 163 beneficiaries in Azamgarh
Dhruv Tripathi, a Probation Officer in the Azamgarh District, stated that 163 children are receiving benefits of this scheme in the district. All applications are verified before an approval is made.
What is the eligibility for sponsorship scheme
WHO can benefit from the scheme; children who have lost a father. Mother has divorced or leaves the family.
Their financial, physical or psychological needs are beyond their parents? Children who require help and rehabilitation.
Children who survive on streets, are ill-treated, bullied or used against their wishes.
Children who have one or both parents suffering from chronic/life threatening illness.
Children whose normal environment is materially displaced by a natural calamity.
Children who are apprehensive of performing physical activities or have grown in some complexities.
Children bearing unspecified HIV/AIDS.
How to apply for this scheme
However, for you to apply for the sponsorship scheme, you will need to go to the District Women and Child Welfare Department. You will have to apply offline.
The application is also supported by a number of other documents such as Pan card, Adhaar card, income certificate, age certificate, death certificate, registration certificate in educational institution etc.
