Wheat Sowing: Sow wheat using this method for bumper yield
Wheat Sowing: The Agriculture Department is working on developing new agricultural technology, which will help farmers to get more yield at low cost. According to this, it is claimed that sowing wheat using zero tillage technology will give more yield. Actually, zero tillage is a process in which wheat is sown through a machine, which gives more yield at low cost. In this technique, fertilizer and wheat seeds are sown together in your fields. However, most of the farmers of Darbhanga region are still unaware of this advanced agricultural technique.
Only one or two farmers in Hanumannagar block area of ββββthe district use zero tillage farming. Apart from this, very few farmers use this technique in other blocks of the district. According to the Agriculture Coordinator, the income of farmers adopting this farming will increase and there will be good yield. Giving detailed information about zero tillage technique, Agriculture Coordinator Arun Kumar says that by using this technique, farmers can get more yield at low cost.
This technique involves mixing seeds with manure, arranging them together and plowing the land in addition to planting. Its biggest feature is that the seeds are planted in rows, which gives the plant enough space to spread and thrive. As a result, the plants grow well and give good yield.
Apart from this, the government is also giving subsidy for zero-tillage equipment. By using the subsidy, farmers will be able to buy this equipment at very cheap prices. The price of this equipment is Rs 1 lakh 92 thousand, but if subsidy is available, farmers will save Rs 40 thousand.
