Wheat sowing: If farmers are sowing wheat late, then use this variety suggested by experts
Wheat sowing: The period between the first week of November and November 25 is said to be ideal for planting wheat, Rabi’s primary crop. Farmers may increase productivity at a lower cost if they plant wheat crops at these times. However, farmers are often unable to plant wheat at this time. Many late-improved wheat types are available, and farmers may get high yields by planting them in December. Farmers should only plant the expert-recommended type of wheat if they are planting it late.
Although November is thought to be the ideal month to plant wheat, Dr. NP Gupta, an agriculture expert stationed at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Niyamatpur, stated that farmers should only choose wheat varieties based on recommendations from Agricultural Universities or Research Centers if they wish to plant wheat later than the sugarcane crop harvest or for any other reason. Remember that farmers should only plant better seed varieties so that they may still achieve decent yields even after planting wheat in December.
