Paddy Crop: Do this work before 10th June, the paddy crop will be great

Paddy Crop: The majority of the nation’s states, including Bihar, cultivate paddy. Agricultural specialists estimate that paddy transplanting will begin by June 15. Before relocating paddy in such a scenario, farmers must prepare the fields by prepping the seedlings. For the saplings to produce a strong crop, quality is crucial. In addition to treating the seeds, the soil has to be tested and treated before the saplings are sown. In addition to many other kinds of issues, this keeps pests out of the crops.

Abhishek Pratap Singh, a senior scientist at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Madhopur, Majhauliya block of the district, has provided some extremely precise guidelines for nursery care and improved paddy sowing yield at a reasonable cost. According to Dr Abhishek, paddy farmers may sow their seeds in the nursery by June 15 and then transplant the saplings 25 days apart. To do this, first thoroughly prepare the land using compost and vermicompost.

Technique for handling nutrients

Dr Abhishek claims that most farmers rely mostly on urea, GAP, and potash since they are unable to control micronutrients in rice crops. In such a scenario, farmers should prepare the land by adding at least 200 to 250 quintals of decaying cow dung manure. This provides the crops with micronutrients such as calcium, magnesium, cobalt, nickel, iron, and manganese.

Apply the seeds in this manner

Once this is done, let the enhanced paddy variety soak in water for a full day. Next, filter it and place a jute bag over it. After irrigating the paddy in the prepared field until it begins to germinate, spray it once the water has settled. Throughout this procedure, remember that you must spray progressively from front to back. This will result in improved seed germination. Now that the seeds have been sprayed, remove any remaining water from the field since it will cause the seeds to begin to rot.
