Chemical farming’s negative impacts and the need of organic farming

The careless use of chemicals is negatively impacting both agricultural and human health. The growing number of health issues has led to a sharp rise in the demand for organic goods. If farmers use natural farming in such a scenario, their crops will sell more readily and their food will be healthier. In addition, the prevalence of illnesses may be decreased.

Aspects of organic farming that are technical

In organic farming, special care is paid during the planting phase. When irrigating the crop, 200 liters of biocidal water per acre are mixed with green manure, such as urad, moong, dhaincha, or other pulses. Following this, the soil is rendered light and fine and has adequate drainage. 400 kg of solid manure must be placed in the field’s crevices at the time of final planting.

The procedure of planting and enriching seeds

“Bijamrit” is added to seeds to increase vegetable output. Soak regular seeds for 6–7 hours and special seeds for 12–13 hours in Bijamrit. Following this procedure, seeds such as tindora and bitter gourd are dried in the shade before being sowed. By ensuring that the seeds germinate well, this enrichment improves yield.
