Mini Sprinkler: What Is It?

Ranvijay Singh, the district horticulture officer, told the reporters that a small sprinkler is a superior watering method that offers a permanent system while crops are being grown. When the crop is harvested, it is simple to remove. It facilitates adequate water penetration into the ground and uniform irrigating of the plants. Also, there is no concern about the plants receiving too much water. thus it functions at low pressure as well. The sprinklers should be spaced 8 m x 8 m to 10 m x 10 m apart in order to be installed.

The advantages of a little sprinkler

A kind of irrigation that produces a microclimate in the fields is the mini sprinkler, which operates on the principle of one drop more crop. This promotes the growth of the plant’s roots. The size and form of tuber crops stay the same when irrigation is carried out in this way because the soil does not pile or become too compacted. Additionally, nutrients and fertilizers fall into the leaves from the small sprinkler, which allows them to swiftly penetrate the crop.

The government is providing a little sprinkler subsidy.

District Horticulture Officer Ranvijay Singh stated that farmers who wish to employ small sprinklers in their fields and want to shape the form of irrigation in a scientific method. The government is providing a subsidy for them. General farmers get an 80 percent subsidy on micro sprinklers, while small marginal farms receive a 90 percent subsidy.
