Litchi Cultivation: To protect litchi from insects, spray these things
Litchi Cultivation: Fruit growing is well-known in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur area. Litchi gardening is becoming more and more popular among farmers here. There are litchi orchards being planted around the district. Additionally, those orchards have grown tremendously. The litchi fruit will begin to develop after the flower, but in the meanwhile, insects begin to settle within it because they are drawn to its deliciousness. As a result, the litchi becomes ruined on the inside yet seems clean on the surface. The litchi’s size stays modest, and its weight decreases.

Farmers should spray half a gram of Emamectin in one liter of water to protect the litchi fruits from insects, according to Professor Dr. IK Kushwaha, who is in charge of the district’s Krishi Vigyan Kendra. Another way for farmers to spray is to blend 1 milliliter of Profenophos with one liter of water. This is undoubtedly advantageous.
More harm to these trees
According to Doctor IK Kushwaha, Saharanpur’s litchi trees are now in full bloom. Soon, the bloom will bear fruit. However, a bug gets to the fruit from the tree during fruit production and ruins it. As a result, growers must start spraying pesticides on litchi plants immediately. In orchards where its impact was seen the previous year, this bug is more noticeable.
