Cultivation of spices: In terms of agriculture, the Chitrakoot area of Uttar Pradesh has long been seen as being behind. Here, farmers who formerly toiled diligently to raise food grains now see farming as a losing venture. Many farmers have been compelled to abandon agriculture as a result of the same economic crises and agricultural losses. However, the farmers of Chitrakoot are now receiving assistance in overcoming this obstacle. Farmers are receiving free improved seeds for growing spices from the District Horticulture Department.

In an interview with media, Pratibha Pandey, the district horticulturist for Chitrakoot, said that growing spices might help the region’s farmers quadruple their revenue. In addition to providing farmers with a steady income at a cheap cost, growing spices may help them in many other ways. Crops such as cabbage, tomatoes, bitter gourds, garlic, and gourds get high prices in the market, which may help farmers double their revenue.
These seeds will be given out for free
According to him, these seeds are appropriate for advanced farming and comprise vegetable seeds, particularly garlic, as well as gourd, ridge gourd, bitter gourd, cabbage, cauliflower, and tomato seeds. Farmers must apply in person at the office with their Khatauni, a photocopy of their bank passbook, their Aadhar card, a picture, and their cellphone number if they want to get these seeds. They may get the enhanced seed variety from the District Horticulture Officer’s office with all the necessary paperwork.
These records will be required
In order to benefit from these seeds, farmers must first take a photocopy of their paperwork and turn it in to the office. Khatauni, a photocopy of the bank passbook, an Aadhar card, a picture, and a working cellphone number are required papers. Following this, farmers may get seeds by going to the District Horticulture Officer’s camp office, which is situated on the court grounds in Chitrakoot.
