Better outcomes have been seen. Professor Shailendra Singh Gaurav told the media that he had brought to Chaudhary Charan Singh University 15 different types of ragi that were discovered in the Chhattisgarh jungle. Three of these types were planted for study in September. Abhishek Singh and Neha Chaudhary are researching this.

Thriving in the realm of research

Professor Shailendra claims that improved outcomes are being seen for the reason this crop was cultivated in the university’s research area. Here, the ragi crop is shown to be thriving. Every facet of the seeds that are harvested will be the subject of research in order to make them freely accessible to farmers. Farmers’ incomes might rise fivefold with this ragi crop. Compared to other crops like wheat and sugarcane, it sells for ten times as much.

The illness disappeared on its own

According to Professor Gaurav, the ragi crop had a disease that caused it to dry up, much as other crops do. But after a few days, the illness resolved itself. This aspect will now also be investigated. After all, what makes this particular kind of ragi unique in that it can heal illnesses without the need for chemicals, whereas other crops need them?

A treasure for well-being

In Asia and Africa, ragi is regarded as a little yet potent grain. It has nutritional components that help treat illnesses and meet iron, calcium, and fiber deficiencies. Consequently, the market also has a high need for it.
