Crop Rotation Technology: Adopt these techniques while farming, the soil will become healthy and fertile
Crop Rotation Technology: If you are a farmer and are worried about the decreasing fertility of the soil after every crop, then this unique method can help you maintain healthy and fertile soil. Crop rotation is used here. This is a farming method in which several crops are sown continuously on the same soil. Farming is done according to crop rotation in Shantivan of the district. According to visionary farmer BK Sharat Bhai, in this method, crops are divided into several groups and different agricultural practices are adopted for each season.

For example, fruit-bearing plants like tomatoes and chilies are planted in the fruit part of the plant. Leafy crops include things like spinach and lettuce. Root crops include beetroot, carrots, radishes and others. At the same time, pulses include beans, peas and other legumes that provide nitrogen to the soil.
Use crop rotation farming in this way
In the first year of this method, cultivate pulses for soil high in nitrogen. In the second year, grow leaves that use nitrogen. The third year, grow fruits, which require more nutrition. The fourth year, establish roots to help the soil become more aerated. Avoid growing the same crop in the same spot for several consecutive years. In addition to preventing vitamin deficiencies, this reduces the likelihood of pests growing.
Advantages of this method
Each crop has different nutritional needs and provides a number of benefits to the soil. These include fixing nitrogen in the soil from pulses, which is helpful for subsequent crops; reducing nutrient deficiencies; helping manage pests and diseases; and improving soil structure and water-holding capacity.
