Chilli Cultivation: Farmers are earning bumper profits by cultivating this variety of chilli
Chilli Cultivation: How growing chillies may bring in millions of rupees for farmers. Ramakant Kushwaha, a farmer from Fesar village in the Sadar block of the Aurangabad district, is an illustration of this. In four bighas, the farmer is growing the VNR hybrid chilli. As a result, he makes up to 2 lakhs in profit per year. According to the farmer, onions, coriander, and chillies are now essential in every kitchen and are in high demand. Farmers are making more money this season since the price of coriander and chili is also rising.
70–75 quintals are produced per acre
According to farmer Ramakant Kushwaha, he has been growing chillies for the last six years. Growing the hybrid VNR chilli 332 yields higher profits. According to the farmer, 70 to 75 quintals are produced per acre when it is grown. It is sown throughout the months of September through October. In around 40 to 45 days, this chili will be ready. This chili is known for its higher quality and increased output. This kind of VNR hybrid chilli is very hot.
Make use of cow dung manure
According to the farmer, this kind of chilli doesn’t need a lot of water. The farmer should give it the necessary amount of water. The farmer should irrigate the crop if it is wilting. Insects are another issue with chilli. In this case, the soil of the field beds should be combined with 50 grams of foet medication and four to five baskets of rotting cow dung manure. Additionally, carbendazim medication should be diluted with water and sprinkled a few days before to planting.
Chilli costs Rs 1400 per quintal
According to farmer Ramakant Kushwaha, the local market as well as the neighboring districts of Rohtas, Hariharganj, Arwal, and Gaya get the chilli that is farmed here. Each quintal of this chili costs between Rs 1400 and Rs 1500. Traders purchase it for this purpose at the local market.
