We’ve been growing broccoli for four or five years since it’s a lot better crop to grow than other crops, Ashok Kumar, a forward-thinking farmer, told the reporters. In this farming, the profit is higher and the expense is lower. “I currently have broccoli planted in one bigha, which costs roughly 15 to 20 thousand rupees per bigha,” he explains. At the same time, one crop yields a profit of around 70 to 80 thousand rupees. The demand for broccoli is high. Our broccoli is now selling for between 30 and 40 rupees each piece, which allows us to make a healthy profit.
How is broccoli grown?
It is really simple to grow. Farmers first set up a nursery for broccoli seedlings. The land is then fertilized with cow dung manure and plowed two or three times. The broccoli plant is then planted once the land has been flattened. After that, it must be watered right away. The crop is then ready to be sold in marketplaces 50 to 55 days after it is planted.
