PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme: New applications started from 15 April, know how to apply

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme: One significant aid program for farmers is the Central Government’s Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Eligible farmers who qualify for this program get financial aid of Rs 6000 each year, which is paid out in three payments of Rs 2000. Since its inception in February 2019, this program has helped millions of farmers. In order to link new qualified farmers with this program, the government will once again launch a fresh registration drive on April 15, 2025.

The government wants no qualified farmer to be denied the advantages of this program, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recently said in the Lok Sabha. There have already been three major campaigns for this, adding lakhs of farmers. The fourth campaign, which will involve additional farmers, will now begin on April 15.

For PM Kisan Yojana, how can I apply?

You may start applying online for PM Kisan Yojana on April 15 if you haven’t already. Applying is a pretty simple process:

Step 1: Visit PM Kisan’s official website at https://pmkisan.gov.in first.

Step 2: On the site, choose the “Farmers Corner” option.

Step 3: Select the “New Farmer Registration” option.

Step 4: Click “Send OTP” after entering your Aadhaar and cellphone numbers.

Step 5: Proceed by entering the OTP that was sent to your mobile device.

Step 6: Enter the necessary data, such as your name, bank account information, land details, etc.

Step 7: Verify all the information and send in the application.

Your name will be added to the PM Kisan beneficiary list upon completion of the registration process, and you will continue to receive periodic payments of Rs 2000. Take advantage of this program if you are a small or marginal farmer!
