He claims that growing vegetables doesn’t cost a lot of money and that it may provide more profits at a lower cost.

The turnip crop takes 40 to 60 days to mature. During the winter months, turnips are in great demand in markets due to their many health benefits.

The farmer informed the reporters that it is being sold in the marketplaces for ₹ 40 per kilogram. Turnip farming is bringing quite a healthy profit for farmer Shivam. Selling it is not an issue for farmers.

Which kind of soil is required?

Sand, loamy, or sandy soils are best for growing turnips. The turnip’s roots are well supported by this soil, which enhances the crop’s quality and development. When preparing for the field, deep plowing is quite essential. In order to allow the plants enough room, the seeds are next planted in rows 20 to 25 cm apart.
