Garlic farming: UP farmers are earning huge profits by cultivating this thing
Garlic farming: Farmers in Swar, the district’s assembly seat, are now making enormous profits from the production of garlic. In this region, garlic farming has been quite successful. This crop is regarded by farmers as a significant source of revenue. Here, garlic agriculture is expanding quickly in both area and output.
For the last ten years, farmer Tej Singh has been growing garlic on two acres of ground here. According to him, one bigha of land yields three to four quintals of garlic. This crop is available by the end of March after being sowed in October. According to Tej Singh, growing garlic requires comparatively less money and labor, but the rewards are measured in millions. Watering the crop once every 15 days throughout the winter increases its output.
Growing commerce and production
More than 50 acres of land are being used for garlic farming in the Swar region. In addition to Rampur, Delhi, Moradabad, and other surrounding markets also sell this garlic. Rampur’s climate and rich soil make it an ideal place to grow garlic. The production here is continuously rising as a result.
Garlic’s health benefits and farmers’ advancement
Garlic is continuously in demand in the market because of its many health advantages. Because it provides them with a steady and lucrative income, farmers have chosen to make it their primary crop.
Motivation for farmers
Other farmers are being encouraged to start growing garlic by the Swar region’s growers’ success. In addition to being profitable, this farming is setting an example for agriculture in the area.
