The state government has put in place a comprehensive incentive program to establish single-screen movie theaters, rebuild or renovate existing movie theaters, launch multiplexes in areas lacking them, and reopen shuttered movie theaters. Guidelines have been released by the State Tax Commissioner.

Cinema halls that are within five years of the scheme’s commencement date will be eligible to receive its advantages. Any outdated movie theater with one or two screens will be renovated, and more screens will be added. To get the funding, requirements must be met.

The public’s interest to multiplex movie theaters has grown. However, Rampur is one of 39 districts in the state without multiplex movie theaters. In contrast, there are no single-screen movie theaters in any of the 28 districts. The program will also aid movie theaters that are losing money.

A comprehensive incentive program has been put in place to encourage the renovation and reopening of shuttered movie theaters. The plan also calls for the construction of a multiplex. The East Entertainment Office will need to provide a structure for this. For further details, call UCG number 7235001649.
