Kisan Unique ID Scheme: This scheme will be introduced for farmers on November 25
Kisan Unique ID Scheme: Farmers in the district will get unique identification. Farmers will benefit from all agricultural-related programs administered by the federal and state governments as a result. The district will begin implementing this plan on November 25. Dr. Manveer Singh, the District Agriculture Officer and In-charge Deputy Agriculture Director, said on Friday that the district would begin implementing the Farmer Registry (Kisan Unique I) program on November 25 in accordance with a government directive.
Under this plan, camps will be established in each district revenue village to create a unique ID card for each farmer. According to him, the farmer will bring his Aadhar card, land khatauni, and gender mobile number to the camp that will be set up in each revenue village. The regional lekhpal, the concerned gram panchayat secretary, the panchayat assistant, and agriculture department staff will verify the information.
The worried farmer’s unique ID will then be created. He promised that farmers will have access to all kinds of facilities operated by the federal and state governments after the creation of their unique ID cards. The farmer won’t have any issues receiving the advantages of any program once the unique ID card is created. Every farmer in the area, whether registered or not, will have a unique ID created for them.
The district has about 3.35 lakh farmers, according to the district agriculture officer’s statement on Friday. 2.27 lakh farmers are enrolled among them. To ensure that all farmers get the same advantages from government programs, each registered and unregistered farmer will be given a unique ID.
