Organic Farming of Chaunsa Mango: The organic agricultural practices of Saharanpur’s farmers are well-known worldwide. However, in the organic growing of Chaunsa mango, Sanjay Chauhan, a farmer from Kothi Bahlolpur village in Behat assembly of Saharanpur, has distinguished himself. Five different mango types, including Dussehri, Langra, Chaunsa, Amrapali, and Mallika, have been planted in Sanjay Chauhan’s land. The most unique of these is the Chaunsa mango. This mango is housed inside a unique cover that protects it from the elements, pollutants, insects, and flies. It is invisible to sun light. This mango naturally turns yellow for this reason. In his land, Sanjay Chauhan has planted 103 mango trees. Additionally, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given him recognition for his organic farming.

Use of natural things in case of disease on trees

According to Sanjay Chauhan, medications poison plants. He claims that poison is being sprayed on the crops and that farmers are being duped under the pretense of medicines. Sanjay Chauhan does not treat his crop with any pharmaceutical medications. He uses natural materials like neem oil, tobacco, garlic, red chili, and lassi to spray the trees in case of any sickness.

Demand for Sanjay Chauhan’s mangoes

The NCR area is where Sanjay Chauhan’s Chaunsa mango is sold. Within ten to twelve hours of the mango being plucked, it is delivered to your house. Compared to other Chaunsa mangoes, whose MRP is Rs 150 per kg, his Chaunsa mango sells for three times as much. Because of the overwhelming demand for his mangoes, even authorities are ordering them online and eating them at home.
