Government CM Block Transport Scheme: Government CM Block Transport Scheme: The government has launched a scheme to buy buses with financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh in an effort to improve the standard of transportation in rural regions. The program is to relieve traffic congestion in rural regions and make it easier for inhabitants of rural areas to travel between villages and cities. Furthermore, this plan will help to end unemployment as well. Recipients must submit an application with the necessary paperwork starting on August 1. Under the CM Block Transport Scheme, the government is offering automobiles to students who pass the matriculation exam in return for a Rs. 5 lakh monetary contribution. This program will not only provide young people jobs but also improve the state’s transportation system.
The application period opens on August 1
However, individuals must apply by August 1 in order to be considered for this program. Additionally, the deadline for applications is August 25. Block-by-block, according to Purnia District Transport Officer Shankar Sharan Omi, the application deadline has been set. He advised that after the evaluation of each applicant’s application, the final list would be made public on September 5. Applications will be accepted starting on August 1 and running through August 25. Applications organized by block will be accepted beginning on August 1 and continuing until August 25, 2024. Based on block-by-block applications, the District Transport Officer-constituted selection committee will create a priority list on August 27. The selecting committee will then make a decision on August 29 based on the aforementioned priority list. The District Transport Office released the approved list and waiting list on September 2; protests were requested within three days. On September 5, after the committee’s resolution of the protest, the final selection list will be released to the public.
Scheme for Purchasing Buses: Assistance Amount

Within a week of the beneficiary being chosen, the District Officer will deposit the authorized aid amount into the recipient’s CFMS account.

The Mukhya Mantri Block Parivahan Yojana aims to provide jobless men and women in the district jobs, as well as give the public access to passenger transit management from blocks and rural regions to the district headquarters. The recipient will get financial support for this purpose, up to Rs 5 lakh, to be used towards the purchase of a minibus or bus. However, applicants must be at least eighteen years old in order to be considered for this program. In addition to all academic records, a valid driver’s license, evidence of caste or residency, an Aadhaar card, a bank account, a PAN card, and other documentation passing at least the tenth grade will also be required.
